Connect with Google

With Connect with Google, Hüsli brings in the appointments from your Google Calendar without you having to copy a link. Hüsli only gets read access and never changes anything in your Google Calendar.

How it works

1. Open Settings › Calendars & mail and tap + calendar next to Connected calendars.
2. Tap Google (Gmail) and then Connect with Google.
3. As long as Google hasn't reviewed Hüsli yet, a note about Google's warning appears. Tap Continue to Google.
4. Choose your Google account. If Google shows a warning page, tap “Advanced” and then “Go to Hüsli”.
5. Tap “Allow” at Google. If there's a tick next to “See your calendars”, leave it ticked.
6. Back in Hüsli: under Which calendars should come into Hüsli?, tick the calendars you want to see.
7. For each ticked calendar, choose the people under Belongs to.
8. Tap Import … calendars and then Done.

Good to know

• New and changed appointments come in by themselves, about every 15 minutes. Update now does it straight away – see Update and disconnect calendars.
• Hüsli already has public holidays and birthdays itself. Such Google calendars, and calendars someone else has shared with you, are therefore not ticked in advance.
• You can change the selection later under Settings › Calendars & mail with Choose calendars. You can tick up to 20 calendars per Google account.
• If you've already connected the same Google calendar by link, it says Replaces your existing link to this calendar. The appointments stay, only the link goes.

If it doesn't work

• Cancelled – Google gave Hüsli no access: tap Try again and then “Allow” at Google.
• Calendar access wasn’t ticked at Google: connect again and tick “See your calendars”.
