Terms of use
The rules for Hüsli – short and clear. Last updated: 17 October 2026.
In case of doubt, the German version applies.
1. What this covers
These terms apply to the Hüsli app at huesli.app/app, the website huesli.app and the beta. The provider is Hüsli, Zürich, Switzerland (hello@huesli.app). By applying for the beta, opening an account or using Hüsli, you accept these terms. How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.
2. Beta
Hüsli is in beta: features are added, change or are removed, and there may be bugs or interruptions. During the beta Hüsli is free. We select beta families and may end a beta participation, for example in case of misuse. Your feedback helps us a lot – we may use it freely to improve Hüsli.
3. Account and family
- You sign up with a valid email address and keep access to your account and devices secure.
- Whoever creates a family (household) manages it and decides who belongs to it. Children use Hüsli through their parents’ family.
- You use Hüsli for yourselves and your family, not for resale.
4. Your content
Appointments, lists, photos and everything you add to Hüsli belong to you. You allow us to store and process it as far as Hüsli needs to (e.g. show, sync and back it up). You are responsible for your content and don’t add anything that breaks the law or other people’s rights.
5. Hüsli assistant and AI
- The assistant uses an AI model in Switzerland. It can be wrong: check its answers and suggestions. Only what you confirm is added, changed or deleted.
- The assistant doesn’t replace a professional – don’t use it for medical, legal or financial decisions or in emergencies.
- During the beta we review conversations with the assistant to improve it, as described in the privacy policy. You can switch this off in the app at any time.
6. Fair use
Please don’t misuse Hüsli: no attacks on the app, no automated mass requests, no getting around security or payment features, no harassing other families (e.g. via Zämeziit). If these rules are broken, we may block access.
7. Hüsli Pro and payment
Prices and what’s included are on the pricing page. You buy Hüsli Pro through our payment partner Lemon Squeezy, who is the seller (merchant of record); its terms also apply to payment, invoices and taxes. A subscription renews automatically and can be cancelled at any time to the end of the current period. New families try Pro free for 30 days, without a card; after that Hüsli Free applies unless you subscribe. For founding families, the conditions stated in the invitation apply.
8. Availability and liability
We run Hüsli with care and back up data daily, but we can’t promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for slight negligence or for indirect damage or lost profit. We are liable for intent and gross negligence as provided by law. Hüsli is a tool for family life – for important things (e.g. medication, deadlines) don’t rely on reminders alone.
9. Ending and deleting
You can delete your family or your account at any time in the app under Settings. Running subscriptions end with it. We may close an account if these terms are broken or if we discontinue Hüsli; in that case we’ll tell you in good time beforehand.
10. Changes
We may update these terms, for example for new features or after the beta. We’ll tell you about important changes beforehand by email or in the app. If you keep using Hüsli afterwards, you accept the new version.
11. Law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Zürich; mandatory places of jurisdiction for consumers remain reserved. Questions? hello@huesli.app
