Pets

With Pets you see every day whether the dog has been fed, the cat has had its tablet or someone has been out with the dog. Whoever does it swipes it off – the others see it straight away.

Switch it on

1. Tap your profile picture top right and open Settings › Add-ons.
2. Under More, find the Pets add-on.
3. Turn it on with the switch.
4. Open More › Pets and tap Add a pet.

How it works

1. Choose the type of animal, enter the name and, for a dog, cat, rabbit or rodent, How often does … eat? (for example Twice a day). Tap Save.
2. Tap Add routine on the pet and choose one of five kinds: Feeding, Medication, Walk, Care or Vet & vaccination.
3. Set How often and, under When, a fixed time (At) or a time window (Between 15:00 and 18:00, or After 15:00).
4. Under Who does it? choose one or more people or Everyone, and tap Save.
5. When something is due, slide it to the right, for example Fed → or Been out →. Afterwards it shows who did it and when, with Undo.

Good to know

• With a time window and several people or Everyone, the reminder goes to whoever is free: at home, with no appointment, not at school or nursery. Anyone who is at the office or on the road according to the work schedule counts as busy; working from home counts as at home. If nobody is free, Hüsli checks again every 30 minutes; if it is still open at the end of the window, the parents are told.
• Children only get these reminders if you choose them under Who does it?. They may tick things off, also on the wall tablet.
• With a fixed time, Remind if still open comes 30 minutes later if nobody has ticked it off yet. For Vet & vaccination you also choose Reminder ahead, for example 14 days.
• For Medication there is Until (optional) and Give with food.
