Family budget
A budget per category, expenses added in seconds, fixed costs and savings goals at a glance.
With the Family budget you decide how much you want to spend each month on groceries, children, leisure and more. Hüsli shows you at any time what is still left this month.
Switch it on
- Tap your profile picture top right and open Settings › Add-ons.
- Under More, find the Family budget add-on.
- Turn it on with the switch.
- Open More › Budget and tap Set up budget.
How it works
- Under Budget per month, enter an amount for each category – or tap Use suggestions. With Own category you add more.
- If you like, enter Income per month at the top. Hüsli then shows what is left after fixed costs, savings and spending.
- Tap Save.
- For each expense, tap Add expense (or +), enter the amount, choose the category and tap Save.
- Under Fixed costs, tap Add fixed cost, for example for the rent. Under Savings goals, create a goal with Goal, for example summer holidays, and put money aside with +20, +50 or +100.
Good to know
- Only parents see the budget.
- Contracts from Contracts & deadlines appear automatically under fixed costs (From Contracts & deadlines). You change them there.
- On the 1st of the month at 9 am, the parents get last month in a notification: how much was spent and whether you are under or over budget.
- Use the arrows at the top to go back to earlier months. Once you have two months with expenses, you see The last few months as bars.
- Family budget is part of Pro (free during the beta).
