Calendars & mail
Manage connected calendars and set up Mail to Hüsli – all on one settings page.
On the Calendars & mail page you bring appointments from your existing calendars and from your emails into Hüsli. At the top is Connected calendars, below it Mail to Hüsli.
How to connect a calendar
- Open Settings › Calendars & mail (profile picture top right).
- Under Connected calendars, tap Calendar (or Connect calendar while none is connected yet).
- Choose where your calendar is: Google (Gmail), Outlook / Hotmail, iCloud (iPhone), Samsung or I have a link.
- Follow the steps – the detailed guides are in Connect a calendar and Connect with Google.
Connected calendars
- For each calendar, choose under Belongs to who it belongs to – its appointments get those people’s colours. More in Belongs to.
- For a Google account: Update now fetches new appointments straight away, Choose calendars changes the selection, Disconnect ends the connection.
- For a calendar link: Disconnect stops syncing. A Google link also shows Switch to a direct connection.
- When you disconnect, Hüsli asks whether the imported appointments should be deleted – otherwise they stay in the Hüsli calendar.
Mail to Hüsli
- Here you find your personal Hüsli address with Copy. Emails from school, the authorities, daycare or parcel services that you forward there become appointments or parcels.
- Guide & filters shows step by step how to forward in Gmail, Outlook or iCloud and set up automatic filters.
- Send a test email opens a ready-made test email to your address in your mail app.
- Check now looks for new emails straight away instead of waiting for the next round. Below it you see what has arrived – or “No new mails for you.”
- Last received shows the last email and whether it ended up in the calendar or with the parcels. More in Mail to Hüsli.
Good to know
- Only parents see the Calendars & mail page.
- Subscribed calendars and Mail to Hüsli are part of Pro – during the beta everything is free.
- Hüsli only reads your calendars and never changes anything there.
- After processing, Hüsli deletes the email. The text only stays as a note in the appointment.
