Set up your Hüsli

After you sign in for the first time, Hüsli takes you through three short steps: you, where you live, your family. You can change everything later in the settings.

How it works

1. Enter your first name under Your first name and, under Name of your Hüsli, the name everyone you invite will see. Tap Next.
2. Under Where do you live?, search for your town and pick it. If you'd rather not, tap Skip.
3. Under Who’s in your family?, use Partner, Child, Grandparents or Pet to add everyone who appears in the calendar and in the tasks, and enter their names.
4. For a child, tap the cake icon if you want to add the birthday (optional).
5. Tap Start Hüsli.
6. Under Bring in your calendar?, choose where your appointments are today (Google, Outlook, iCloud, Samsung or a link) – or tap Skip.
7. Welcome home … opens on Today: this is where you invite the others. Later closes it.

Good to know

• Hüsli starts calm: calendar, Who is where, tasks and lists, plus weather – with children also School and Daycare & childcare, with a pet the Pets add-on. Hüsli will suggest more add-ons later.
• With a birthday, Hüsli creates a few morning and evening routines for children up to 10, plus a shopping list. You can delete or change both.
• People you add in the family step don't have access yet. You can invite them afterwards – children don't need an email address.
• Your details stay saved on the device until Hüsli starts. If the phone rings in the middle, nothing is lost.
• During the beta you need a beta place to set up. If you have a beta code, enter it under Redeem code.
