Import
Take over lists, chores, recipes, events or the timetable from text, a photo or a screenshot.
Do you already have something elsewhere – in your phone notes, on a piece of paper, in a letter from school or as a screenshot? With Import, Hüsli reads it and turns it into separate entries. You check everything before anything is saved.
How it works
- Where the entries should go, tap Import (the places are listed below).
- Choose Paste a list, Photo / screenshot or With the assistant.
- Paste the text and tap Read it – or choose the photo. With the assistant, write what you want and tap Ask.
- Hüsli reads and shows what it found: “8 found – check, edit, tick”.
- Change what isn’t right and untick everything you don’t want.
- Tap Take all – or “Take 5” if you haven’t selected everything.
Where you find Import
- Tasks: Import at the top – chores and to-dos, with person and How often.
- Lists: the Import icon next to the list name – shopping and packing lists with quantities.
- Calendar: the Import a letter or flyer icon – events from a school letter, an invitation or a flyer.
- School: Photo of the timetable – the lessons for the selected child.
- Meals › Recipe book: Import a photo or text – a cookbook page or a recipe card.
- Birthdays and Contacts: Import at the top – e.g. a class or phone list.
- Day-trip ideas: via + with Paste a list, Photo / screenshot or With the assistant.
Good to know
- Nothing is saved before you check it. What is already in Hüsli is marked (e.g. “Already on the list”) and not ticked.
- Photos are only read and not saved. A photo can also be a PDF; the language doesn’t matter.
- Only parents can import – children can’t, and on a device with parental controls the button isn’t there.
- Hüsli takes over at most 120 entries at a time. Notes after an entry, e.g. “(1h)”, are kept.
- If Hüsli finds nothing, try a sharper photo or paste the text.
