Add tasks
One-off and recurring tasks for each person – with time, reminder and stars.
Under Tasks, each person has their own column: what needs doing today, in the morning, during the day and in the evening. Once added, recurring tasks appear by themselves.
How it works
- Open Tasks.
- Tap + – or + at the top of a person’s column, then that person is already selected.
- Under What needs doing?, write what it’s about, e.g. “Put out the waste paper”.
- Under For whom?, choose one or more people.
- Under How often?, choose Once, Every day, Weekly, Monthly or Yearly.
- Set the date and a Time (optional) if needed.
- Under ⭐ Stars for this task, choose how many stars it gives – or None.
- Tap Save.
Good to know
- At the top you switch between Overview (one column per person), ⭐ Chores, 🎁 Rewards and All (all tasks by recurring, routines, open and done). With the person picker you see just one person.
- With a time, the Remind (push) switch appears. The reminder comes when Hüsli is installed as an app and notifications are allowed.
- Every task belongs to at least one person. If you want a column for tasks that belong to nobody, go to Settings › Family & people and, under Tasks, switch on General tasks.
- To change or delete a task: tap it, adjust it and tap Save – or Delete. Right afterwards you can bring it back with Undo.
- Parents can add and change tasks. Children tick them off on their device and so collect their stars. You take over a whole chore list with Import.
