Done tasks

To keep the list tidy, one-off tasks disappear from the list once ticked. You find them at the bottom of the column under “Done” – nothing is deleted.

How it works

1. Open Tasks.
2. Tick a one-off task. At the bottom you see “Done ✓ – moved to «Done» below”.
3. By mistake? Tap Undo straight away.
4. After about three seconds the task fades out and slides into “Done” at the very bottom of the column, e.g. “3 done ›”.
5. Tap it to open the list: the newest first, with who and when.
6. Tap the tick there to reopen a task.

Settings

Under Settings › Family & people › Tasks, you set when they disappear with Hide done one-off tasks:

• Right away (default): after about three seconds.
• In the evening: ticked tasks stay until 6 pm, then they slide into “Done”.
• Never: ticked tasks stay in the list.

Good to know

• This only applies to one-off tasks. Recurring tasks and routine steps stay ticked as before.
• The stars stay, and the weekly review still counts the tasks.
• On Today, ticked one-off tasks disappear in the same way. “2 done today ›” takes you to the tasks.
• “Done” shows the tasks of the last 90 days. Older ones drop out of it but stay saved.
• The setting applies to the whole family and only parents can change it.
