Meal plan & recipes
Plan lunch and dinner for the week, collect recipes and put the ingredients on the shopping list.
With Meal plan & recipes you plan lunch and dinner for the whole week and collect your recipes in one place. One tap puts the ingredients on the shopping list. Meal plan & recipes is part of Pro – during the beta everything is free.
Switch it on
- Tap your profile picture top right and open Settings › Add-ons.
- Switch on Meal plan & recipes.
- Open Meals – in the navigation or under More › Meals & recipes.
How it works
- In the Weekly plan, tap + plan on a day (lunch or dinner).
- Under What’s for it?, write what you are cooking – or choose something From the recipe book.
- Under Who’s eating?, choose the people and tap Save – or, for a recipe with ingredients, Save + shop: then the ingredients go straight onto the shopping list.
- For a new recipe, open Recipe book and tap From link.
- Paste the link to the recipe and tap Apply.
- Check the title, ingredients and method and tap Save.
Good to know
- You take over a cookbook page or a recipe card with Import a photo or text – Hüsli reads it, you check it and tap Take all. More under Import.
- Surprise me suggests a balanced week: lots of vegetables, fish at least once, red meat at most twice. With Only fill empty days, whatever is already planned stays.
- Buy ingredients puts the ingredients of the whole week or of one recipe on the shopping list. Anything already open there isn’t added twice.
- With Share, a recipe gets a link that anyone can open. Turn off link switches it off again.
- Parents can plan and add recipes. The others see the plan, and Today shows “Meals today”.
