Pass it on
Collect what's outgrown with photos and share it with friends and neighbours via a link.
Clothes, toys, the pushchair: collect with photos what your children no longer need, and share it all with a link. Friends and neighbours see the things without an account and can ask whether they may have something. No shop, no payment – you decide.
Switch it on
- Tap your profile picture top right and open Settings › Add-ons.
- Under More, find the Pass it on add-on.
- Turn it on with the switch.
- Open More › Pass it on.
How it works
- Tap Add something (or +) and add up to four photos.
- Enter a name, for example “Red winter jacket”, choose the category and fill in Size, Condition and How: Free, To swap or Price idea. Tap Save.
- Tap Create link at the top.
- With the pencil you give your page a Title, A few words and How to reach you, for example “Sabrina & Marc are passing things on”.
- Tap Share link and send it to friends. With View you see the page the way others see it.
- When someone asks, you get a notification and the item is listed under Reserved. Open it and tap Passed on or Make available again.
What the link page shows
- Your title, your few words and – if you entered it – how to reach you.
- Everything that is up for grabs or reserved: photos, name, size, brand, condition, free/swap/price idea and your note. Reserved items only show as Reserved, without the name of the person who asked.
- On each item, I’d like this: there people enter their first name and, optionally, how you can reach them and a message.
What it doesn't show
- No address, no surnames, no children's names (the From field stays with you) – only what you enter yourself.
- Nothing that has already been Passed on, and nothing from the rest of Hüsli.
- Photos are stored without location data. The page doesn't appear in any search engine.
Good to know
- With Turn link off, the old link stops working. A new link has a new address.
- Tip: photograph the things without your children's faces.
- From Kids’ clothes you can pass on things that are too small straight to here.
- Pass it on is part of Pro (free during the beta).
