Day-trip ideas

“What shall we do at the weekend?” Day-trip ideas shows the weather for Saturday and Sunday and day-trip destinations in Switzerland to match. Your own ideas and saved places are in the same add-on.

Switch it on

1. Tap your profile picture top right and open Settings › Add-ons.
2. Under More, find the Day-trip ideas add-on.
3. Turn it on with the switch.
4. Open More › Day-trip ideas.

How it works

1. In the Suggestions from Hüsli tab you see Places that fit and below that Simple & spontaneous. Filter at the top by Outdoors or Indoors and by distance, for example up to 40 km.
2. Tap the star (Save) on a place if you like it, or the tick (Been there) if you have already been.
3. In the Our ideas tab you find your own ideas and the saved and visited places (Starred and visited).
4. With + (or Add) you choose Add one idea, Paste a list, Photo / screenshot or With the assistant.
5. For a pasted list, Hüsli turns it into individual ideas. Check them, remove ticks where needed and tap Take all.
6. Tap Plan it on an idea and choose Saturday, Sunday or Another day. The trip is then in the calendar for the whole family.

Good to know

• To sort by distance, Hüsli needs where you live. The children's ages (from the birthdays) and the weather are taken into account in the order.
• For imported ideas, Hüsli adds the place, indoors/outdoors and season and marks them suggested – please take a quick look. Places Hüsli already knows are listed under Already in Hüsli and are saved. Photos are only read and not stored.
• From Thursday to Saturday midday, Today shows an idea for the weekend if there is no family plan and no all-day appointment in the calendar for the weekend yet. Your own ideas come first.
• Please check opening hours and prices on the place's website. Only parents can import.
• Day-trip ideas is only available in Switzerland and is part of Pro (free during the beta).
