Birthdays

Under Birthdays you see all birthdays at a glance: who is next, how old someone is turning and which gift ideas you have noted. Hüsli reminds you in good time.

How it works

1. Open More › Birthdays and tap +.
2. Type the name, for example “Grandma Nora”. For a photo, tap the circle.
3. Choose Day and Month. The Year (for the age) is optional – with it, Hüsli shows how old the person is turning.
4. Choose a Group: Family, Friends, Daycare & school, Work or Other, and an Icon.
5. Under Remind, choose On the day, 1 day before and/or 1 week before.
6. Under Gift ideas & notes, note what you don’t want to forget, for example “likes Lego”.
7. Tap Save.

Good to know

• The reminder comes at 8 am as a notification, with the age and the first gift idea. On the day and 1 day before are selected by default.
• Birthdays appear in the calendar by themselves. On the start page, Hüsli shows the birthdays coming up in the next few weeks.
• Lots at once? With Import you take over a list or a photo of one – see Import.
• Anyone born on 29 February is celebrated on 28 February in the other years.
• Parents can add and change birthdays. To change or delete a birthday: tap it and choose Edit or Delete.
