Delete your account or family

Hüsli has three ways: remove a person from the family, delete your own account or delete the whole household. An account or household can’t be restored – if needed, first download a copy with Export data under Settings › Data & privacy.

Delete your account

1. Open Settings › My account (profile picture top right).
2. Tap Delete account at the very bottom.
3. Enter your email address to confirm.
4. Tap Delete permanently.
5. Under Quick confirmation, enter the 6-digit code Hüsli sends you by email.
6. Tap Confirm.

Delete the whole family

1. Open Settings › Family & people.
2. Tap Name & home town.
3. Tap Delete household at the bottom.
4. Enter the household’s name to confirm.
5. Tap Delete permanently.
6. Under Quick confirmation, enter the 6-digit code from the email.
7. Tap Confirm.

Good to know

• Only the owner can use Delete household. All entries, photos, devices and invitations are deleted – for all members. The others’ accounts remain.
• If you are the last parent with an account when you delete your account, the household is deleted too, with all entries and photos. If there is another parent, the family stays – and if your account was the owner, the parent who has been there longest takes over.
• A running Pro subscription is cancelled when the household is deleted, and a Google Calendar connection is handed back to Google.
• You remove a single person under Settings › Family & people: tap the person, then Remove access or Remove from the family. Their appointments and tasks stay, but are no longer assigned to anyone.
• Deleted means deleted straight away. The daily backups are deleted automatically after 30 days.
